[4:45] Nora Burns: Oh, yes!
[4:46] Leanne Elliott: I want you to tell me about your little dog. Is she called Whiskey Girl?
[4:51] Nora Burns: Whiskey Girl. Whiskey Girl came to me As my COVID cliché a bit, in March of 2020, as the world started to shut down, I watched my calendar from going from the busiest I have ever been with 50+ keynotes already booked to a calendar that was empty inside of 72 hours. And I thought, for my own mental health, I need to do something. I need like a silver lining and I need it now. And so I thought, what can I do that I can't normally do? Because I'm on the road a lot. And so it interferes with some ways that I can volunteer and help. And I realized that I could foster puppies because I wasn't going to be on the road every week. And so I signed up with 2 organizations and went with the one that I thought did the best background check on me for reasons related to my research. And they delivered, or I went and picked up 2 golden doodles at the end of March, on March 21st, to come and hang out at our house for what I thought was going to be a couple weeks and join my labradoodle, who's also a rescue, and I, Bella. And I had no intention of adopting a pup, absolutely none. But Whiskey Girl bonded with Bella, so Whiskey Girl became Bella's dog. And thankfully Bella taught her how to dog before she left. And then Whiskey Girl helped to raise 8 other dogs that came through as fosters during the core of COVID And so she has all of these friends around the greater Denver area that come to visit periodically that were her foster siblings for some time. So we've seen quite a few pups come through here of all different sizes and ages, and it was. Great way to invest time during COVID I did stumble across her Instagram profile
[6:48] Leanne Elliott: So I, yeah, I will follow, follow along. We should probably talk about workplace culture. That's why we're here. Now we've covered, now we've covered the puppies. I want to start with asking you what you think is the most misunderstood aspect of workplace culture
